Ming

Inspired by Klaas’s fascination with street vendors selling fragments of rare Ming vases in China, we imagined how people might collect these pieces to reassemble an original vase. This sparked the idea of transforming perceived worthless materials into something valuable.
 
Using plastic waste sourced from second-hand shops, we handcrafted unique vases from small pieces, creating the Ming vase of the modern dynasty.
